What this site does not do

This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and does not track you. Its fonts are served from this site itself, so loading a page sends no request to any other company.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical details of the request in order to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process this data outside the EU; it is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

The contact and booking forms

When you send a message, your name, email address, message and any lesson time you chose are passed to Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris) and delivered to me by email. Nothing is stored on this site. I use your details only to answer you and, if you book, to arrange the lesson (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I keep the correspondence only as long as it is needed for that, and for as long as tax law requires where a lesson was paid for.

The forms are protected from spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser without setting tracking cookies.

Payments

If you pay for a lesson, a package or the members’ library, you do so on a payment page run by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Dublin). Stripe processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; I receive your name, email address and what you paid for, never your card details (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The members’ library

The members’ library is protected by Cloudflare Access. To sign in you enter your email address and receive a one-time code. Cloudflare sets a cookie that keeps you signed in for the session; this cookie is strictly necessary for the area to work. Your email address is kept on the list of members for as long as your membership lasts.

Videos

Videos are embedded from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) in privacy-enhanced mode, and only after you press play. Before that, nothing is loaded from YouTube. Once you play a video, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, to object to it, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to the address above. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, for example Die Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit der Freien Hansestadt Bremen.
